This system is the most popular. As you can see from the diagram,the thin-manufactured heating wires are laid just under the tiles and has the effect to warm up very quickly. Because of the restrained diameter
of these heating wires(+/-2mm), the floor level will not change if the existing carpets are removed and replaced with ceramic tiles. More on this on the following pages
Undercarpet heaters are heating pads manufactured in many different sizes. They are placed between the underfelt and the wall-to-wall carpets at the time of the installation or eventually under loose rugs. They also have the effect to warm up pretty quickly, because of the close contact with the material.
