Undercarpet heating
Undercarpet heaters are heating pads manufactured in many different sizes. They are placed between the underfelt and the wall-to-wall carpets at the time of the installation or eventually under loose rugs. They also have the effect to warm up pretty quickly, because of the close contact with the material. Please note that all texts, photographs, logos and webdesign are copyrighted by heat~A~room cc
Please note that the insulation medium has not been included in these graphics. If required, the insulation plates, usually a high density polystyrene, are placed between the slab and the screed
at the building stage.

INTRODUCTION TO UNDERFLOOR HEATING SYSTEMS
We manufacture three different underfloor heating systems: This system is the grand daddy of the more recent systems. It is simply laid on top of the concrete slab by using specially notched spacers on which the heating cables are simply hooked. Cables are usually spaced 75mm from each other. A screed of around 25mm to 50mm thick (usually a mixture of river sand and standard cement to a ratio of 6:1) is poured over the wires and levelled using conventional tools. All types of flooring can be used: from ceramic tiles to wood. This system is also used lately with the now fashionable coloured screeds using chemical oxides.
